Please stop any Registry protection utilities before attempting to install as they can prevent the application from installing correctly.
If you are running Windows NT 4 or Windows 2000 you must log on to your PC using an Administrator account.
Camportal requires Win 98 or above.
CAMPORTAL utilizes Logitech’s family of QuickCam® cameras for direct video feed and image capture routines. Camportal will not work with any other web cam.
Imp : YOUR COLOR SETTINGS FOR THE MONITOR ATTACHED TO THE VIDEO ADAPTER SHOULD BE 24 BIT [TRUE COLOR] or above. Your Screen Area / Resolution should be at least “800 by 600 pixels” or above. You can do this by going to the control panel and clicking on the Display Applet.
In some installations multiple reboots may be needed. This is normal procedure.

Installation instructions
You have to download 2 files CAMEVAL.ZIP [Camportal Core Files Installation] and LOGITECHBIN.ZIP [Logitech Binaries] available at the bottom of this page.
[Camportal Core Files Installation][Part 1] Unzip the file [CAMEVAL.ZIP] and Run SETUP.exe to load Camportal Core Installation files.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
The installation will load the following Components.
[a]. Data Access Components.
[b]. Program DLLs.
[c]. Microsoft Access Database [CAMPORTAL.MDB].
[d]. Program Executable [CAMPORTAL.EXE].
[e]. Help Files Component.

[Logitech Binaries Installation][Part 2] Unzip the file [LOGITECHBIN.ZIP] and Run SETUP.exe IN THE BINARIES DIRECTORY to load Logitech Binaries.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
The installation will load the Logitech Binaries.
Please reboot the machine before continuing.
In the trial version certain functions have been downgraded.
